- How did Dance Cooperative begin?
It started in 2020 through the initiative of Lydia & Emilie. We got a studio in Valby in March 2020, in the middle of the pandemic. Nanna was our administrative leader at some point, the cultural association became more structured, and we got operational support from the Danish Arts Association.

Other notes
In artist-run platforms, FAQ pages often become:
- A catch-all
- A proxy for governance
- Internally useful but externally confusing
For visitors:
- Funders rarely read FAQs
- Institutions prefer structured pages
- Artists scan, they do not study
Recommendation:
Only keep FAQ if it answers external questions:
- Can I join?
- Can I use the studio?
- Is this open to the public?
